Vikas Anand danced with Columbia University Bhangra- a competitive dance team- for three years. Moreover, he has helped organize "Bhangra in the Heights", which is the largest Bhangra showcase in the New York Metropolitan area for the past four years. He also danced with Columbia Raas, specializing in Gujarati folk dances, for one year. Additionally, he has been dancing (and more recently choreographing) Bollywood and Bhangra dances since age 6. Furthermore, he has helped teach new choreography to members of Columbia Bhangra. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics-Political Science, and MESAAS (Middle East, South Asian, and African Studies) from Columbia University.
