TEDxMasala will be happening on Saturday 12th January 2013, and this time it has grabbed the opportunity to raise questions never asked before and to speak about issues that tend not to be discussed. The theme this year is ‘What if…?’. By asking a range of talented thinkers and doers “What If?”, TEDxMasala will address fresh, new perspectives by framing old questions differently — and by asking thoughtful, new questions. We are inviting people to join us in exploring this hopeful future, where difficult problems become achievable and the impossible is merely hard. What If?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
