What is Poi?
Poi, an art that originated amongst the Maori tribe of New Zealand, primarily used to enhance self defence/weaponry skills and which has now evolved as a performing art. As an equipment Poi is a pair of equal weights suspended at the end of a cord and swung around the body to form beautiful patterns. These weights can either be LED sticks/balls or kevlar wicks that can be set on fire or just regular tennis balls.

Timings:
Session – Yoga for Flexibility from 5 pm to 5:30 pm
Poi session from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Cost for participation:
INR 800 per day for a 2.5 hr workshop
Age:
For day/glow poi the age limit is open from 8 yr old kids to adults
For Fire Poi One has to be over 18 yrs and above
Requirements to conduct the workshops:
Extra Long Soccer socks
Tennis balls in pairs
